Once again Barcare supreme are backing Stafford’s Beer & Cider Festival, bringing real ale, ciders and perry to the county town for another three day event at Blessed William Howard High School.
Managed and arranged by The Heart of Staffordshire Branch of CAMRA, the festival is now in its 11th year and is expected to be the biggest yet with around 2,000 eager ale enthusiasts in attendance.
As well as featuring over 65 cask beers, more than 30 ciders and a range of bottled beers and country wines from across the region, this year’s festival will see the introduction of a gin bar for the first time.
While the opening night is a quiet evening, keeping the punters entertained on Friday night is local singer-songwriter Alexandra Jayne, while the ever popular Blackwell Concert Band takes over on Saturday afternoon.
Any donations from unspent beer tokens will go towards two great local causes in Hospital Radio Stafford and Staffordshire Women’s Aid, and there are still opportunities for volunteers to help with setting up and manning the bars.
About Barcare
Since 1991 Barcare have been providing professional glasswashers, commercial dishwashing and catering equipment to the hospitality industry and are privileged to have worked with some of Staffordshire’s leading pubs, bars and establishments including the Lewis Partnership, No 7 Market Square and CASA.
Our sponsorship of the Stafford Beer & Cider Festival ties in with two new big announcements from us with the launch of our new range of commercial glass and dishwashing detergents and Classeq Spares – your new one stop shop for Classeq equipment.
Included in our range of commercial warewashing chemicals is GlassSupreme CASK, which has been specially formulated with the real ale market in mind.
The unique chlorinated glasswash not only provides fantastic hygienic washing results on your glassware, is kinder to your machine than other industrial chemicals on the market but does so without affecting the head retention in your beer – ideal for real ale fans.
To mark these two big announcements, Barcare will be sponsoring the t-shirts worn by staff and volunteers across the festival, so if you see any during your visit make sure you tag your photos with @BarcareSupremeL!
The 11th Stafford Beer & Cider Festival starts with an evening session on Thursday 26th July and runs until Saturday 28th July at Blessed William Howard High School, Rowley Avenue, Stafford, ST17 9AB. To find out more, visit the website here: www.staffordbeerfestival.co.uk
